POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the discretion of the Logistics Division Chief, the Facilities Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of supplies and materials needed for daily operations across all stations. This position ensures that all stations and administrative offices are properly stocked with essential supplies by placing orders, tracking inventory levels, and delivering supplies to each location in a timely and efficient manner.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of general facility supplies, including janitorial, medical, and station-specific items.

Order supplies from approved vendors based on department needs and budget guidelines.

Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments; ensure accuracy and quality of deliveries.

Deliver supplies to Fire and EMS stations, offices, and support facilities according to a regular schedule or as needed.

Coordinate with department personnel to assess supply needs and respond to urgent requests.

Maintain organized supply storage areas and keep accurate records of inventory movement.

Work closely with administrative and operations staff to ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Ensure delivery vehicle is maintained and safe to operate.

Assists Logistics Division staff as needed.

Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
At least 18 years of age

Eligible for employment in the United States
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Possession of a valid class C (or higher) driver’s license
-
Successful completion of background screening and driving record check
-
Must successfully pass urine drug screen.
-
Prior experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical demand requirements are for heavy work. Must be physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to carry a shared 100-pound load for short distances. Work involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching. Must be able to climb stairs and safely enter and exit vehicles throughout the day. Must be capable of driving for extended periods between facilities. Must be able to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to changing weather conditions when making deliveries. Will be required to work flexible and/or extended hours during emergencies or special operations.
IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must provide proof of the following immunizations:

2 Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccinations or positive antibody titer

History of Chicken Pox (documentation required) or 2 Varicella immunizations.

TB skin test (PPD within the past year) or chest x-ray

Tetanus vaccination within the last 10 years

3 Hepatitis B vaccinations or a signed declination statement
