OUR STATIONS
Station 1
805 Ridgewood Ave. Burgaw, NC 28425 Phone 910-259-0891 (Office Hours Only 8-5 Mon. – Fri.)
Station 1 is the Headquarters for our Company. This location is also headquarters of the Pender County Emergency Operations Center, Pender County Office of Emergency Management, and the Pender County Fire Marshal Office.
Station 1 is home to three of our response divisions (EMS, PTS, and Rescue). The primary response area is approximately 190 square miles of central Pender County. Station 1 has the highest annual call volume. Located within the response district are the communities of Burgaw (the county seat), and St. Helena. The crew at Station 1 has access to and from I-40 via Exit 398.
Station 1 is home to a Paramedic crew consisting of one Paramedic and one AEMT or EMT driver 24 hours a day.
Station 1 is the home base of one of the two Heavy Rescue Trucks staffed and operated by 24 hour full-time North Carolina Rescue Technicians (TR) or Firefighter/TR personnel.
Station 1 is home for the Pender Transport Division (PTS) with PTS Admin., Transport Ambulances, Wheelchair Vans, and Bariatric Units stationed here.

Station 14

Station 14 is home to two of our response divisions (EMS and Fire). It has the second highest EMS annual call volume in the county; Station 14 covers the northern mainland of Eastern Pender County. Hampstead and Sloop Point communities are the primary response area.
Station 14 is home to a Paramedic crew consisting of one Paramedic and one AEMT or EMT driver 24 hours a day.
Station 14 is the home base for Sloop Point area Fire Station with a three man full time 24 hour crew that responds with Engine 14, Brush Truck, Tanker, Brush Tanker, and Marine 14 Rescue Boat to Fires, Wrecks, Medical Emergencies and Water Emergencies. It is supplemented with Volunteers that respond and assist with other apparatus and manpower.

Station 16

Station 16 is home to three of our response divisions (EMS ,Fire and Rescue). Station 16 Fire division covers the central part of Eastern Pender County. The EMS division covers the central and southern part of Eastern Pender County.
Station 16 is home to a Paramedic crew consisting of one Paramedic and one AEMT or EMT driver 24 hours a day.
One of the two Heavy Rescue Trucks (Squad 16) is also based at Station 16
Station 16 is the home base for the Hampstead area Fire Station with a three man full time 24 hour crew that responds with Ladder 16 and Squad 16 Heavy Rescue to Fires, Wrecks, and Medical Emergencies. It is supplemented with Volunteers that respond and assist with other apparatus and manpower.

Station 18

Station 18 is one of our newest stations serving the southern end of Hwy 17.
Station 18 is the home base for the Scotts Hill area. The station is staffed with a three man full time 24 hour crew that responds with a Engine 18. At least one member of the crew is a Fire/Paramedic for medical first response to Fires, Wrecks, and Medical Emergencies. The Shift Battalion Chief is also based out of Station 18. It is supplemented with Volunteers that respond and assist with other apparatus and manpower.

Station 21

Station 21 Fire division covers the Long Creek Community as well as some of the Southern and Western part of Pender County.
Station 21 is home to a Engine 21 , Engine 21-1, Tanker 21, Tanker 21-1, Brush 21 and Brush 21-1. With the largest district in the county Station 21 prides it self on rural water supply and a great working relationship with the surrounding Fire Departments.
Station 21 is the home base for the Long Creek area Fire Station with a three man full time 24 hour crew that responds to Fires, Wrecks, and Medical Emergencies. It is supplemented with Volunteers that respond and assist with other apparatus and manpower

Station 28

Station 28 is the home base for the Island/Cross Creek area Fire Station. It is staffed by volunteers in the area that respond with a Engine 28 and Tanker 28 as needed to assist other Fire Departments.

Station 29 is one of our newest stations serving the southwestern region of Pender EMS & Fire
Station 29 is the home base for the Currie, and South Western part of Pender County area Fire District, it is staffed with a full time 24 hour crew of three that responds with Ladder 29 and Tanker 29. At least one crew member is a Fire/Paramedic for medical first response to Fires, Wrecks, and Medical Emergencies. It is supplemented with Volunteers that respond and assist with other apparatus and manpower.
